Kanye West isn't wavering on his support for President Donald Trump.

In an article published in  magazine on Wednesday (April 15), Kanye alluded to his support for the president as the 2020 election approaches. The rapper, who openly admitted that he didn't cast a ballot in 2016, but if he did, he would have voted for Trump, is doubling down on his statement.

沙巴体育备用网址"No, I'm definitely voting this time," Kanye said. "And we know who I'm voting on. And I'm not going to be told by the people around me and the people that have their agenda that my career is going to be over. Because guess what: I'm still here! was No. 1!"

went on to make it clear that his decisions aren't easily influenced by others. "I was told my career would end if I wasn't with her," he continued, while referencing his marriage to Kim Kardashian. "What kind of campaign is that, anyway? That's like if Obama's campaign was “I'm with black.” What's the point of being a celebrity if you can't have an opinion? Everybody make their own opinion! You know?"

Back in March, the Chicago native, who has publicly rocked a "Make America Great Again沙巴体育备用网址" hat on numerous occasions, addressed wearing the red hat that is symbolic of Trump's campaign and presidency.

"I’m a Black guy with a red [MAGA] hat, can you imagine?" he explained. "It reminded me of how I felt as a Black guy before I was famous, when I would walk in a restaurant and people would look at you like you were going to steal something. This is your place, 'Ye, don’t talk about apparel. This is your place, 'Ye, you’re Black, so you’re a Democrat.'"

Election Day is on Nov. 3 and Kanye West has made it clear who he's backing.
